Wakame, Undaria pinnatifida is a sustainable functional raw skincare ingredient.

New Zealand Brown Seaweed is sustainably harvested from marine farms in the pristine waters of the Marlborough Sounds.

This uniquely functional product is rich in polysaccharides (alguronic acid and fucoidan), carotenoids (fucoxanthin) and phenolics that have been shown to help improve skin hydration, reduce inflammation, and slow signs of aging.

Results from in-vivo studies conducted on comparable marine ingredients showed:

• Reduced wrinkle depth: A trial conducted on women aged 45-65 reduced depth of major wrinkles by 5.1% (on average) and up to 16% (after 15 minutes).

• 70% of the volunteers said their skin smoothed out and expression lines softened.
